Conor Dolan Named on Dublin Minor Team 2020

Congratulations to Conor Dolan who has been named on the Dublin Minor Team 2020.

This achievement is the culmination of years of dedication and hard work by such a talented – and extremely modest – young player. Conor has been supported all the way by his head coach and dad Peter, his family, his coaches Stephen and Robbie as well as the teammates and friends he has played alongside since U8s.

Conor’s skill and aptitude for county football has been on the radar for a number of years. Conor played on the Dublin U14 team in 2017 and has been member of the U16 Development Panel in the lead up to his selection for Minor. He has benefited from the support of his Dublin coaches and teammates.

Man O’War GFC Men’s Dublin Minor roll of honour includes:

  • Anthony Rooney – mid 1960’s
  • Cyril Sheridan – 1976 & 1977
  • Declan Monaghan – 1992
  • Gary Moore – 1999
  • William Moore – 2003
  • Shane Moore – 2006 & 2007
  • Conor Dolan – 2020

The announcement is extra special in the week when Conor and his club teammates start pre-season training for our first Man O’War GFC Minor Men’s team in many years.

Everyone at Man O’War GFC is so proud of Conor. He is a terrific role model. Ever the club man, Conor will be back in action coaching at our weekly Nursery section on Tuesday.

We wish Conor and his Dublin teammates and management a very successful campaign in 2020. Comhghairdeas agus beir bua. #COYBIB #longcogaidhabú
