Man O’ War GFC has a strong tradition in ladies football
Our Ladies Football Section has been thriving since fielding our first adult ladies team in 1993. During that time we have fielded an adult team every year, winning the division 3 league in 1999 and gaining intermediate status. The ladies have competed in two intermediate championship finals, in 2003 and 2004. The current ladies team plays league football in division 2 and compete in the Dublin Ladies Junior championship . In 2013 the girls competed in the Junior Championship final, after a hard fought battle the ladies lost out to a strong Croi Ro Naofa team. Ladies 2nd Team
Our adult 2nd team play their league and cup football in Division 9 of the Dublin Adult competitions. 2015 see’s the club enter a 2nd team since 2004. The team has been thriving since 2015 and is a fantastic outlet for bringing on young players and also reintroducing some ‘experienced’ ones into the game again. Gaelic for Mothers and Others
Since 2012 Man O’War GFC has had a successful Gaelic For Mother and Others section to the our club. The team competes in various tournaments during the year which the main tournament being the National Gaelic for Mothers & Other Bltiz every October. Our Gaelic for Mothers is a busy & flourishing section of our club and a great way to meet new friends and stay fit.
